Pastors Zach & Anissa Perkins are founders of Kidron Brook Ministries, Inc. located in Third Ward Houston, TX at Cullen Oaks of University of Houston central campus.
They are an emerging apostolic and prophetic teaching team. Fondly, they are together nicknamed “ZAP” after their initials; nevertheless, as they jointly minister together, GOD’s presence does just that … “zaps” a jolt/a sudden force that destroys the kingdom of darkness.
Pastor Zach holds a Masters in Civil Engineering from the University of North Carolina A & T in Greensboro, NC, and received his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Prairie View A & M University in Prairie View, TX. Pastor Anissa holds an Executive MBA and a Bachelor’s of Science from Texas Woman’s University in Denton, TX.
In August 2013, Zach and Anissa were ordained as pastors of Kidron Brook Ministries by Apostle Elaine Benson of First Fruits Christian Center in Houston, TX. Kidron Brook Ministries is one of the many fruitful ministries in fellowship with Oil of Joy International Ministries founded by Elaine Benson in 1986.
Pastor Zach has been in ministry for over twenty-five (25) years. He grew up and developed a love for the Word of God at a young age at Love United Methodist Church under the leadership of Pastor Jackson. He has held the offices of Elder and Youth Pastor under the leadership of Pastor Elaine Benson and the late Pastor Charles Benson. Pastor Anissa experienced a love for GOD at an early age also. As the youngest of eight children, Pastor Anissa was always with her mother at Holman Street Baptist Church at mission circles and prayer meetings; she gleaned from her mother and other women who nurtured her early years of spiritual growth.
has led intercession and ministered along with U.S. military chaplains while
she worked at the Tallil Airbase in Iraq during 2010 – 2011. During this same
time, Pastors Zach and Anissa faithfully hosted a prayer line while they were
separate in two countries/two time zones.

Both, Pastors Zach and Anissa have exceled in courses at Beth Rapha Christian Education founded by Dr. Jackie McCullough. Pastor Zach has also attended Masters Divinity School in 2005. In 2007, Anissa [Brittimes] co-authored a business article title, “Developing the Appropriate Culture and Communication,” published by Inderscience Publishers which has been referenced by academic institutions and businesses.
Pastor Anissa is excited about the recent release of her book titled “The V.O.W." - the Voice of a Watchman! which was inspired through a boot-camp teaching in May 2012 under the tutelage of Pastor Elaine Benson of First Fruits Christian Center in Houston, TX. Also in 2012, Pastor Anissa prophetically released an anointed message on prosperity titled “A Colossal Release!” in which GOD declared He was bringing forth His Ministers of Wealth! This prophetically release downloaded a revelation of her upcoming book "Money that EnterSeeds." She has been titled a ninja/militant-type in spiritual warfare – giving the enemy a one, two, three punch!
In 2013, Pastor Zach prophetically released one of many more teachings to come on “Will the Jehu(s) Arise?” This anointed message was released as GOD garmented ZAP with a new mantle (Matthew 11:12) to “Rally His Violent Takers!” to be holy violent in this hour to advance the Kingdom of GOD!
Pastors Zach and Anissa are tentative board members of The Elijah to Elisha Apostolic Prophetic Training Center founded by Apostle Ida Ullrich. Kidron Brook Ministries is also affiliated with Nixon Home Care, Inc. whereby they provide worship services at Nixon's Assisted Living Centers.
Pastors Zach and Anissa have three children: Caleb, Christian-Noelle, and Bryce; also a shih tzu named Maxwel. They purpose to live Romans 1:16-17, “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek. For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, “The just shall live by faith.””
